A swimming evaluation at Dad's Club, feedback on freestyle and backstroke, and the decision to choose pickleball.

Today, I went to do the Dad's Club team evaluation to decide whether i should do pickleball or swimming as my sport. When I arrived at the site, I was already wearing my swimsuit. My dad first led us into the storage room, and then into the gym. On his third try, he finally found the office. He told the person at the desk that he had signed me up for the evaluation, and the person said we could walk straight in, but we couldn't practice in the pool. At that time, it was 3:17 and the evaluation started at 3:30. We sat on the benches and waited for 13 minutes. It was so boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, the coach arrived. He said that the whole thing would take about 10 minutes, but I thought that it was only the swimming that would take 10 minutes.
I told him that I didn't know the butterfly stroke, but I could do the others. First, he made me do freestyle for 25 meters. Then he made me do backstroke for 25 meters too.
The coach told Dad that I had multiple things to work on:
- For the freestyle, my legs had bad rhythm.
- For the backstroke, there was a lot: my body was too diagonal, my head was too low, and my feet were also too low.
Finally, he told Dad that to go to Dad's Club, I had to either take lessons or join the swim team. Since I didn't apply for the swim team, as my swimming wasn't good enough, and I didn't want to take swimming lessons, I just decided not to be in Dad's Club.
In conclusion, this evaluation did not really work out for me. I decided to do pickleball as my sport instead.
